Glenn Chao
Co-founder and Managing Director

Glenn Chao is the co-founder of the Sirius Growth Partners I and serves as a Managing Director of the Fund.

Glenn is currently a Partner at Venture TDF Pte Ltd where he has been since 1999. At Venture TDF, his responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities and making investment and divestment decisions. He serves on the Board of Directors of several companies in which Venture TDF has invested.

Glenn is also a co-founder and investment committee member of Venture TDF Technology Fund III LP, a venture fund set up in late 2000 to make investments in Greater China.

During his time at Venture TDF, Glenn co-founded and served as a key member of the management team of the TechFinancing Center, a joint-venture between OCBC Bank, Venture TDF and the Economic Development Board of Singapore.

From 1996 to 1999, Glenn was a corporate and licensing attorney at Fenwick and West LLP, a leading technology law firm in Silicon Valley, where his practice focused on representing and counseling high-growth technology companies and venture capital firms.

Glenn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He also has a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School and is the author of three publications on technology and business law.

Elaine Wong
Associate Director

Elaine Wong serves as an Associate Director of our Sirius Growth Partners I.

Prior to joining us, she was with London Asia Capital where she was responsible for fund raising, deal sourcing, identifying institutional investors and forming of new joint venture partnership regionally.

After working in KPMG where she focused on audit and corporate restructuring, Elaine joined a new start-up family office where she spent 7 years helping to set up the organisation structure, human resource, administration and accounts infrastructure. She oversaw the payroll, financial planning, budgets and forecast, including day to day accounting matters and year-end audit. She also undertook contract-negotiating responsibilities with new business ventures and was involved in the acquisitions and restructuring of companies ranging from IT to logistics, industrial research development, hospitality, retail, and food and beverage. She was subsequently relocated to Hong Kong with the same family office, where she took on the additional role of Financial Controller/ Project Manager, overseeing the conceptualisation and delivery of the first boutique hotel in Hong Kong and two new food and beverage outlets.

Elaine is a Certified Public Accountant with a double Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Computing.
